1. General Provisions
These Terms of Service (hereinafter — "Terms") govern the relationship between the administration of the "Шагівниця" web application (hereinafter — "Service"), hosted at shagivnytsya.com, and any individual using the Service (hereinafter — "User").
By registering for the Service and/or using its features, you fully and unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision, please do not use the Service.
The Service provides tools for managing a family budget: tracking income and expenses, categorizing transactions, budget planning, tracking savings, debts and assets, as well as importing bank statements via the Monobank API.
The Service is provided free of charge. The administration reserves the right to introduce paid features in the future, notifying Users in advance.
2. Registration and Account
To use the Service, the User must register by providing an email address and creating a password. Registration is voluntary.
The User agrees to provide a valid email address and to keep their password confidential.
The User bears full responsibility for all actions performed under their account. If unauthorized access is suspected, the User must immediately change their password and notify the administration.
Each account belongs to one "family space". The User who created the space may invite other family members. Invited members gain access to shared financial data within that space.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
The User agrees to use the Service exclusively for its intended purpose — managing personal or family finances.
The following is prohibited:
- using the Service for any illegal activity;
- attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' data;
- taking actions intended to disrupt the operation of the Service;
- using automated tools for mass data collection from the Service;
- sharing account access with third parties who are not family members.
When using the Monobank import feature, the User independently provides their Monobank API access token. The Service uses this token solely to retrieve statements at the User's request.
4. Intellectual Property
All rights to the Service, its design, source code and other elements belong to the Service administration and are protected by intellectual property law.
Financial data entered by the User remains the User's property. The administration does not claim any rights to such data.
The User may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works based on the Service without written consent from the administration.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". The administration does not guarantee uninterrupted operation and is not liable for temporary unavailability.
The administration is not a financial institution and does not provide financial advice. All financial decisions are made solely by the User.
The administration is not liable for:
- financial losses resulting from decisions made based on data from the Service;
- the accuracy and completeness of data imported via the Monobank API;
- actions of third parties who gained access to an account due to the User's negligence;
- data loss due to force majeure circumstances.
The administration makes reasonable efforts to ensure data preservation, but recommends that Users independently maintain backups of important financial information.
6. Changes to Terms
The administration reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on the Terms of Service page.
Users will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
7. Account Termination
The User may delete their account at any time. Upon account deletion, all User data is permanently removed.
The administration reserves the right to suspend or terminate the User's access to the Service in case of violation of these Terms, notifying the User via email with stated reasons.
In case of access termination, the User has the right to contact the administration within 30 days to obtain a copy of their data.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine.
All disputes shall be resolved through negotiation. If agreement cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to a court in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.
